Equity Trust Recognized in Celebration of Family-Owned Businesses

Though much larger than when it was established, Equity Trust has remained a family-owned company that promotes a family-oriented culture.

This was celebrated recently as Smart Business magazine recognized Equity Trust and 16 other Cleveland-area family-owned companies with the 2018 Family Business Achievement Award.

The award, sponsored by Cuyahoga Community College, was presented to Equity Trust Co-Founder and Executive Director Rich Desich at a breakfast on September 6, 2018.

Rich co-founded Equity Trust Company with his father, Richard, in 2003. It evolved from a predecessor brokerage firm which formed in 1974.
